Pinterest is still one of top social media platforms and search engines out there. I think it’s important that your account consistently grows. Within my first month of being on Pinterest I made it my business to grow my account and learn as much as I could. I grew my Impressions to 5000% within a month and have consistently grown over the last eight months. There are a few key things that you have to do in order to consistently grow on Pinterest.
Tip #1: Create your own pins and re-pin daily. For the majority of my own pins, I just repurpose content from Instagram and create pins from that. In addition to creating pins you should also re-pin others pins throughout the day, everyday. This will help your account continue to grow.
Tip #2: Use the Tailwind app to schedule your pins. Tailwind is KEY, it has been my secret weapon in terms of growth. You literally add in all the information you normally would via the Tailwind site and schedule it. Tailwind will choose the best time and day to post your pins and you won’t have to do anything on your end.
Tip #3: Invest in Pinterest Pin templates. I get the majority of my Pinterest templates from Creative Market and sometimes Etsy. They are normally under $20 and can be edited in Canva over and over to fit your needs. I go with templates that match the aesthetic that my brand already has and then I edit and to make them my own.
Tip #4: Post Video Pins. Video pins are a newer feature within Pinterest. In my experience with video pins they yield very good insights and impressions if the video is sped up and is to the point. I have posted promo videos for my hair sleeves, plant videos and fashion related videos and doubled my impressions.
Tip #5: Don’t forget to use KEYWORDS! In all your pins you should be including keywords. The keyword generator in Pinterest is helpful but you can also use some of the keyword resources that I talked about in my previous blog post about Pinterest.
I hope that this post helps you as you navigate Pinterest and all its greatness! Make sure to check out my other Pinterest blog posts as well.
