It feels like day number 611 and we are still all home trying to make sense of the current times we are living in. I know it can be tough to pivot and create content from home but we are all making the best of it doing what we can with what we have. More than ever we have more time to plan and create content, but how can you create content consistently without feeling overwhelmed you ask?
Firs things first, go though all of your blog posts and make a list of what content can be repurposed and shared to your audience again. This is called Evergreen Content, content that is old but can be updated and shared as new content. Once you have identified blog post or content that can be repurposed, you will need to read through, update links and add any new information to keep the post relevant. New images, etc. Once that is done schedule your new post!
Photoshoot images are not trash after you’ve used a couple. Save them and use the when repurposing content. Use for social posts if you don’t have any recent images. Using Canva and Over to add shapes and text is an option as well.
The second thing you should do is research important social dates that are coming up and plan your content accordingly. For example, if March 12th is National Plant a Flower Day you can create a photo for your social media centered around how your replant or plant flowers or give tips on replanting old plants, etc.
If you have a camera or use your phone to create content, find a well lit spot in your house or a locations that you can shoot content for your blog or social media. Invest in a bluetooth remote for your camera or iPhone so you can take photos yourself. Make it happen!
