We are well into the second week of the new year and I can already say that it’s been tough to stay motivated and push through sometimes.
I think that it’s easy to be hard on yourself for not having it all together right when the new year starts but lets be honest with ourselves. Who really has it all together?? This is most definitely is a process and we all deserve time to take care of ourselves first!
Self-care is a MUST in 2018! I am really taking this to heart for sure because my body has been telling me for weeks… Derria, Eat better. Derria, get some rest. And I haven’t been attentive enough to listen and make changes so I’ve found myself unmotivated, sluggish and exhausted. NOT GOOD! I know but I’m human and I believe that we all go through periods like these its all about how you recover and push through it all.
As I write the post at 1:30 on a work night I know that better times are ahead. I know I need to get my gym membership this week so that I can work out and get my natural energy and endurance back up and that will in turn help me on the late nights that I need to create content for the blog.
Also just sitting down and creating my schedule and weekly to-do lists to keep myself in check is important for my overall success this year!
