Have you ever felt like blessings or opportunities were on standby in your life? I sure have. But it’s important to continue to do the work handle your business and keep God first.
Over the last few months I have gained so much clarity on various situations and relationships in my life. I’ve learned to not get attached to things like job prospects or even specific plans that I had for my life. I know now more than ever that I have to let God take the wheel and direct my footsteps. He’s the only one that knows the exact plan for my life so why not let him do his thing!
With that being said, I am going to continue to do the work making connections with creatives, and move forward with building my brand and clientele here in LA.
I’ve said this over and over but I REALLY enjoy taking blog photos. It gives me a chance to put my creativity to use on a regular basis when I am not personal shopping for clients or working my full time job as an HR Professional. It’s the perfect escape from the everyday worries. This look is my twist on “business casual”. Let’s get into this top. First of all I got it on super sale. It was marked down to $19 with an additional 40% Off so only $12 not bad at all. The Urban Renewal Brand at Urban Outfitters is my absolute favorite because the items are unique vintage items that are chopped and screwed.
I usually don’t talk about the accessories until the end but the next statement piece in this look were my shades. Tell me that my cat eye reflective shades didn’t take this look to a whole different level. I snagged these at Santee Alley in LA one of my favorite spots to get shades for the low. I saved them just for a look like this to add some edge.
Boyfriend jeans are the comfiest jeans I own. I purchase the pair I’m wearing from JCP when they carried the Mango brand and of course I got them on sale for like $16. My denim clutch is from American Apparel I got it a couple years ago after searching high and low for it. My heels are Cape Robin, snagged them from my local shoe store in Charlotte called Shoe Trend. More outfit details below:
